Privacy Policy
How personal information is handled for purchases, licensing, activation, support, and optional analytics.
Overview
Apex Predictive Analytics Corporation respects your privacy. This policy explains the personal information we may receive through the Gapless Indicators website, purchases, licensing, activation, support, and optional analytics, and how we use and protect it.
Who is responsible
Apex Predictive Analytics Corporation, Canada, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to privacy@gaplessindicators.com.
Information we may receive
- Information you provide in email, including your name, email address, questions, feedback, testimonials, and support correspondence.
- Purchase and license information supplied by you or PayPal, such as payer name, email address, transaction identifier, product, amount, currency, payment status, license term, and purchase date.
- Activation and license-administration information, including the machine-specific activation code you submit, the generated license, activation date, expiry date, and reissue history.
- Technical information needed to diagnose installation, compatibility, or support issues when you choose to provide it.
- Limited website-usage and device information from StatCounter, but only after you accept optional analytics.
- Ordinary security and server-log information processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the website.
Payment information
Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not receive or retain your complete payment-card number, bank-account number, PayPal password, or other PayPal login credentials. PayPal handles those payment credentials under its own privacy practices. We receive only the customer and transaction information needed to confirm payment and administer the license.
How we use information
- To answer enquiries and provide sales, activation, licensing, update, and support services.
- To confirm purchases, issue licenses, calculate license periods, and process eligible pre-activation refunds.
- To evaluate requests for manual license reissue after computer replacement or repair.
- To maintain business, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal records.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- To understand aggregate website use when optional analytics has been accepted.
We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioural advertising.
Service providers and external services
We use service providers where necessary to operate the business, including Namecheap for website hosting, email providers for correspondence, PayPal for payment processing, and StatCounter for optional analytics. These providers may process information in countries outside your own and are subject to their own legal and contractual obligations.
Retention
Customer, purchase, activation, machine-identifier, license, reissuance, and support records are retained for at least five years. They may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for licensing and reissue administration, fraud prevention, accounting, legal claims, dispute handling, or legal obligations. Information is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably required.
Safeguards
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information. No email, storage system, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may reject optional analytics without losing access to the website and may change that choice through “Analytics choices” in the footer. Subject to applicable law, you may ask about personal information we hold, request access or correction, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern by contacting privacy@gaplessindicators.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children
The website and products are intended for adults and professional market participants. They are not directed to children.
Third-party links
The website links to external services, including NinjaTrader, Kinetick, PayPal, StatCounter, and other websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The version published on this page is the current version.
